Since our establishment in 1988, M&S Food has steadily evolved from a local coconut processor into one of Malaysia’s leading coconut and plant-based ingredients brands. Achievements
Established a manufacturing facility in Ipoh, Perak, strategically located near Malaysia’s largest coconut-producing region, focusing initially on tropical fruit processing in aluminum cans.
Invested in a UHT processing plant with SIG Combibloc filling lines, introducing UHT aseptic products like coconut water, guava juice, calamansi juice, and UHT Coconut Milk.
Launched the first-ever Reduced Fat UHT Coconut Milk.
Acquired land adjacent to the factory to enhance coconut processing capabilities and ensure the freshness of raw materials.
Achieved Halal certification from JAKIM for UHT products.
Obtained HACCP certification for food safety management.
Installed a wastewater treatment system to ensure environmentally responsible operations.
Secured FSSC22000 certification for enhanced food safety standards.
Reinvested RM1 million into the wastewater treatment system to accommodate increased production capacity.
Modernized facilities with a RM20 million investment in new UHT aseptic filling lines and CIP systems, incorporating Industry 4.0 practices to improve food safety culture.
Installed solar panels at the UHT filling line station to reduce reliance on non-renewable energy.
Expanded solar energy initiatives with additional installations at the warehouse, reducing 207.29 tons of carbon emissions annually.
Achieved ISO9001 Quality Management System certification to enhance systematic and sustainable operations.
Launched an ERP system with a significant investment, streamlining organizational processes.
Invested RM1 million in a new dryer system to improve food safety and increase production capacity.
