Steak With Citrus Fruits

  • 4 pieces sirloin steaks
  • 2 satsuma or mandarin oranges, peeled and chopped coarsely
  • 1 white onion, cut into rings
  • 2 stalk spring onions, cut into long thin strips
  • 1 red chili, chopped finely
  • 1 cup coriander leaves, chopped roughly
  • Some chopped fried onions for garnishing
  • Salt and white pepper
  • Cooking oil
  • 100ml M&S Coconut Milk
  • 2 tbsp lime juice (mixed together)

  • Put the satsuma, onion rings, spring onions, chili and coriander together. Toss till well mixed. Chill in the refrigerator.
  • Marinate steak with salt and white pepper. Heat grill or char-grill on medium – high heat. Brush steak with cooking oil, cook steaks for 6 minutes each side for medium done.
  • Keep steak on a warm plate.
  • Mix coconut mixture over the satsuma mixture and divide into 4 portions. Serve with steak and sprinkle some fried onions over it.
