International Taste Award
At the Taste Institute, taste evaluations are done by independent professional taste experts. Products are tested by large panels amongst more than 200 Chefs & Sommeliers from the most prestigious European culinary associations. Jury members are selected based on their proven experience in tasting and in giving constructive feedback. Their talents are recognised in Chef & Sommelier competitions or by renowned institutions such as Le Guide Michelin or Gault & Millau.
Tasting process: Products are tested blindly, following a systematic approach based on the International Hedonic Sensory Analysis method. Products are prepared & served according to a strict protocol ensuring maximal objectivity. It is not a competition, each product is evaluated & scored on its intrinsic organoleptic quality.
The Sensory Evaluation results are presented in a PDF report that provides you with a quantitative overview of the performance of your product. It includes the overall score of your product and a detailed score on each of the 5 sensory criteria:
