About Us
Founded in 1988, M&S Food Industries Sdn. Bhd. is one of the most popular coconut food product suppliers in Malaysia. M&S stands for Malaysia and Santan, and “Santan”, in particular, means coconut milk. It’s a key ingredient that’s widely used in Malaysian cuisines. The M&S factory is currently located strategically in Silibin Industrial Estate, Ipoh, a stone's throw away from Bagan Datuk where most of the coconut plantations are located.
Over the decades, with the continuous efforts in quality improvement, investment in human resources, products research and development have made us one of the highest quality purveyors of coconut-based products in the world. At M&S, we pledge to be ethical and responsible in the way we conduct our business. Thus, consumers gain confidence in purchasing our products.
In addition, a solid fan base garnered through our social media and engagement for being a trusted brand in Malaysia. We are available throughout all the channels in modern and general trades as well as e-commerce platforms. Aside from that, our products can also be found in various key markets across the world, such as Europe, America, Africa, Japan and the Middle East.
We pledge to continue to maintain our standards and deliver superior coconut food products to our customers.
The Art Of Batik
The colourful Batik is the key concept of our corporate image. A unique ancient art that has been around since the 13th century, the craft has been passed down from generation to generation, and yet, the craftsmanship continues to enjoy great popularity to this day. Batik truly embodies Malaysia’s history and culture.
Similarly, at M&S, aside from being a generational business in the Santan industry, we have also been a well-loved brand since 1988. Batik perfectly represents the essence of our company, and we chose to highlight the most popular Batik motifs — leaves and flowers — in striking patterns and colours.
The coconut leaves on the Batik represent M&S’ core businesses.
The shape of the flower petals mimics the splash of the Santan droplets.
Bright colours including green, red and purple represent multiracial and ethnics in Malaysia, which further symbolises the unity of multicultural Malaysians.
